Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How much really goes back to the parish?
A: The parish receives the maximum amount of donation, which is 10% of our sales. Since we
are printing and promoting these certificates on our own, there is no other party involved
to take a percentage from the parish.
Q: What items can be purchased with these
certificates?
A: The certificates may be applied to all in-stock merchandise (items in our Church Goods
department excluded). This means your parishioners can use their certificates to purchase
Bibles, rosaries, statuary, school uniforms, books, music, videos, jewelry, cards, teacher
resource materials, wall decor, wall crucifixes, plus great gifts for baptisms, weddings,
first communions, confirmations, RCIA, penance, and much more!
Q: Is my parish eligible to participate in this
program?
A: We are opening this program to our local parishes who have a good credit history with
our store. Local parishes would include any parish in the St. Louis Archdiocese or
neighboring diocese (where the distance is close enough for your parishioners to come and
shop in our stores). The certificates are not redeemable for phone, fax, mail
or internet orders.
Q: How do we redeem the certificate?
A: The certificate must be presented at the time of purchase (at either of our two
locations). The certificate would work as a $10.00 credit toward the purchase. The maximum
cash/change back is $2.00. Certificates may not be used to pay off house account balances.
Q: Do the certificates have an expiration date?
A: The certificates are valid within twelve months of issue date.
Q: Can I purchase the certificates for other members
of my family, friends or relatives?
A: Yes, the more certificates purchased, the more your parish earns! The certificates are
completely transferable to other people.
Q: If I lose or misplace my certificate/s, are they
replaceable?
A: No, they are treated just like all other paper gift certificates, they are not replaceable. Please keep them in a
safe place.
Q: Is there a minimum certificate order?
A: Yes, we sell the certificates in multiples of 4. So your minimum order would be 4
certificates. You can order as many or as little as you would like (as long as it is in
multiples of 4) and you can reorder at any time as well (in multiples of 4). Please allow
2-3 business days to process your certificate order.
Q: Can I use the certificate with any other offer
Catholic Supply has running (like after-Christmas clearances, etc.)?
A: Certainly! The certificate may be applied to any in-stock item (excluding items in our
Church Goods department).
