Lovely Lady Dressed in
Blue
Lovely Lady dressed in blue-
Teach me how
to pray!
God was just
your little boy,
Tell me what
to say!
Did you lift Him up, sometimes,
Gently on
your knee?
Did you sing
to Him the way
Mother does
to me?
Did you hold His hand at night?
Did you ever
try
Telling
stories of the world?
O! And did He
cry?
Do you really think He cares
If I tell Him
things-
Little things
that happen? And
Do the
Angels' wings
Make a noise? And can He hear
Me if I speak
low?
Does He
understand me now?
Tell me- for you know?
Lovely Lady dressed in blue-
Teach me how
to pray!
God was just
your little boy,
And you know
the way.
Hail, Holy Queen
Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy!
Our Life, our
sweetness, and our hope!
To thee do we
cry, poor banished
children of
Eve; to thee do we send
up our sighs,
mourning and weeping
in this
valley, of tears. Turn, then,
most gracious
advocate, thine eyes
of mercy
toward us; and after this
our exile
show unto us the blessed
fruit of thy
womb, Jesus; O clement,
O loving, O
sweet Virgin Mary.
Let Us Pray
O God, whose only begotten Son,
by His life,
death, and resurrection
has purchased
for us the rewards
of eternal
life, grant, we beseech
Thee, that
meditating upon these
mysteries in
the most Holy Rosary
of the
Blessed Virgin Mary, we
may imitate
what they contain,
and obtain
what they promise:
through the
same Christ our Lord.
Amen.
