The original blue print of the St. Louis Papal Altar, created by Catholic Supply's liturgical designer, Mr. Angelo Gherardi. The design features a main stage (60 feet across and 40 feet deep) and two side stages (one foot lower) for the 200 bishops (35' x 40'). A 45 foot replica of the St. Louis Arch was designed for the center with a suspended 48 foot wooden cross hanging from the rafters above. Mr. Gherardi also designed the entire Altar Setting- including the Pope's chair, Altar, and Pulpit.

In January of 1999 we were fortunate to welcome Pope John Paul II to St. Louis. His Holiness celebrated a massive Youth Rally at our Kiel Center, a record number Papal Mass at our Trans World Dome, and an intimate Prayer Service at the St. Louis Basilica.
The following are pictures from this blessed time. We were honored to be selected to design the Papal Setting for the Mass at the Trans World Dome.
Our liturgical team, especially Mr. Angelo Gherardi, designed and supervised the production of the Altar and all of the Settings, including the Sanctuary Appointments and elaborate Arch Backdrop. We also supplied the custom-made Vestments, Dalmatics, Wine, Altar Bread, Processional Crucifix, and Ciborias.
Whether your next project is large or small, please keep our qualified, experienced team in mind! We’d be glad to supply information for your next project!

HOLY REDEEMER CHURCH, PALM CITY, FL
1993
The completed project.
The altar platform supports the main altar table, an imposing ambo and the Shrine for the Blessed Sacrament, which exudes both power and dignity. Massive stained glass windows frame the 10-foot statue of the Risen Christ. Five smaller stained glass windows grace the church's interior.
Inside the main entrance to the church, the baptismal font and scriptural references portray entry into Christian life, encouraging a sense of renewal for those coming to worship.
Gheradi puts the final touches on the background design surrounding the statue of the Risen Christ, our Holy Redeemer.

In the Chapel of Our Lady of Perpetual Help is a mosaic of Our Lady, a reproduction of a centuries-old Greek portrait in Rome.
A fountain and bronze Holy Family sculpture at the center of the spacious plaza graces the main entry of the church. A scriptural reference above the door calls the congregation to prayer.
